How we got this data
We collected this data with the Ujeebu web scraping API, which fetches and renders public pages and returns the fields we need as structured data. The same API is available to you for your own collections.

Methodology and known limits
We read three World Bank API responses through the Ujeebu Scrape API (raw response, no JavaScript, 1 credit each): the indicator IT.NET.USER.ZS (individuals using the internet, % of population), IT.NET.BBND.P2 (fixed broadband subscriptions per 100 people), both for 2024, and the country list, which tells countries apart from regional aggregates.
We kept the 182 countries with a 2024 internet figure that we can draw on the map. The colours split the countries into five groups of about equal size (quantiles). The World Bank takes these figures from the International Telecommunication Union, which collects them from national statistics offices and regulators; several are ITU estimates. A value of 100% is what the source reports, rounded.
Known limits
- 2024 figures only: countries without a 2024 value are shown as no data, even when an older figure exists.
- Survey years and methods differ by country, and many values are ITU estimates.
- "Online" means used the internet at least once in the last three months, on any device: not a measure of speed, cost or quality.
- Every country with a figure is on the map.
