Ujeebu Data

Editorial standards and corrections

How we collect, check and publish the data behind our charts and the AI Citation Index, and how we fix mistakes.

Who publishes

Ujeebu Data is published by Ujeebu, a web data company. The charts and the AI Citation Index are written by Mohamed Amtoun, the founder of Ujeebu. We make the charts with our own product, the Ujeebu API, and every chart page says so.

How we collect the data

  • We collect public web pages with the Ujeebu API. Before collecting, we read each source's terms and robots.txt. When the terms allow aggregates only, the chart publishes aggregates only.
  • Some charts use public datasets published by others. The chart page names the source and links to it.
  • The AI Citation Index asks AI answer engines a fixed set of buyer questions every week, logged out, from the country of each industry's market. We count the brands each answer names and the sites it cites, and check a sample by hand. We publish aggregated counts only: no answer text and no personal data. The full method is in the methodology.

What every chart page shows

  • The sources and the dates we collected them.
  • How we got the data, the method and its known limits.
  • The data table, with a free CSV sample to download.
  • The date the page was published and last updated, and who wrote it.

Review before publishing

We use software, including AI models, to help collect, extract and draft. A person reviews and approves every chart before it is published. Weekly AI Citation Index updates go live only after they pass automated quality checks, and an engine that fails them is shown as a gap, never as zero.

Independence

We do not accept payment to include, exclude or rank a brand in a chart or in the AI Citation Index. Brands that buy a report from us are measured the same way as every other brand.

Corrections

If you spot an error, tell us through the contact form (every chart page has a "Tell us" link that names the page) or at support@ujeebu.com. We check the report against the source data. When a correction changes a number or a conclusion, we fix the data, the chart and the downloads, update the page's date and describe the change on the page.

Reuse

Our charts, chart images and data downloads are licensed CC BY 4.0: free to reuse, including commercially, with a credit and a link to the chart page.
