Booking.com API
Which Booking.com APIs exist, who gets access, and how to get Booking.com hotels (name, rating, reviews, address) as JSON today without partner approval.
Not an open one. Booking.com APIs are for approved partners only: the Demand API for affiliates, plus connectivity and metasearch APIs for property software and metasearch partners. To get Booking.com hotel lists and property pages as JSON without approval, send the page URL with recipe=booking to the Ujeebu Scrape API: 5 credits a page ($0.50 per 1,000 pages on Pro, $0.82 on Starter), and our checks of Booking.com passed 32 of 32 times in the last 7 days.
Disclosure: Ujeebu publishes this page and sells the Scrape API it describes. The official API facts link to Booking.com's own pages; our numbers come from our own checks.
Is there an official Booking.com API?
Not an open one. Booking.com APIs are for approved partners only: the Demand API for affiliates, plus connectivity and metasearch APIs for property software and metasearch partners.
Booking.com runs a developer portal with three families of APIs: the Demand API for affiliate partners who sell Booking.com stays, and the Connectivity and Metasearch APIs for property software and metasearch partners. Each needs an application and approval as a partner; there is no self-serve key for reading hotel data.

How to get Booking.com data as JSON today
Send a Booking.com URL (or search parameters) with recipe=booking to the Scrape API. The recipe carries the extract rules and the settings we validated on real Booking.com pages, so there are no selectors to write and no proxies to pick. Every field, a full sample and the price: Booking.com API.

Does it work today? What we measured
We fetch real Booking.com pages through our own API every day and re-validate the recipe on real pages every week. When Booking.com changes its pages and the recipe breaks, the API answers 404 "the recipe has no working version" (free) instead of empty data until it is fixed.

What to check before you collect Booking.com data
- Public pages only. The recipe reads the pages Booking.com shows without signing in. It does not log in, pass a login wall or read private messages.
- Booking.com's terms of use govern how its site may be used. Read them for your use case, and for anything beyond research or internal analysis, ask your own counsel.
- Personal data. Property pages show guest review excerpts with first names. Privacy law such as the GDPR in the EU applies to them: keep only the fields you need and delete what you no longer use.
- Your pace. You choose how many pages you fetch. A daily or hourly snapshot of the pages you track is usually enough for prices and listings.
This is a practical checklist, not legal advice.
