Not an open one. Without approval, LinkedIn's API only allows sign-in and posting for the signed-in member. Profile, job and company data need an approved partner program. Is there an official LinkedIn API?
Not an open one. Without approval, LinkedIn's API only allows sign-in and posting for the signed-in member. Profile, job and company data need an approved partner program.
Any developer can create a LinkedIn app, but the open products are limited to signing in with LinkedIn and posting for the signed-in member. Job postings, company data and profiles sit behind partner programs (for example the Talent Solutions, Marketing and Sales Navigator partner programs) that LinkedIn approves case by case. There is no self-serve LinkedIn Jobs API for reading public postings.

Does it work today? What we measured
We fetch real LinkedIn pages through our own API every day and re-validate the recipe on real pages every week. When LinkedIn changes its pages and the recipe breaks, the API answers 404 "the recipe has no working version" (free) instead of empty data until it is fixed.

What to check before you collect LinkedIn data
- Public pages only. The recipe reads the pages LinkedIn shows without signing in. It does not log in, pass a login wall or read private messages.
- LinkedIn's terms of use govern how its site may be used. Read them for your use case, and for anything beyond research or internal analysis, ask your own counsel.
- Personal data. Job postings can name the recruiter or the hiring manager. Privacy law such as the GDPR in the EU applies to them: keep only the fields you need and delete what you no longer use.
- Your pace. You choose how many pages you fetch. A daily or hourly snapshot of the pages you track is usually enough for prices and listings.
